Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about car inspection.

Basic inspection takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Full diagnostic takes 1-2 hours depending on car complexity and accessibility. Premium package may take up to 3 hours.

Yes, I serve all of Latvia. In Riga and nearby areas there is no additional travel fee. For remote regions (Liepaja, Daugavpils, Ventspils, etc.) a small travel fee applies.

Inspection can be done in both cases. Dealer cars are often better prepared visually, but technical issues can still hide. Independent inspection is valuable in both situations.

Ideal conditions are daylight and dry weather. However, paint thickness measurements and diagnostics can be performed in any conditions. When possible, I try to schedule a more favorable time.

Yes, I have experience with hybrid and electric vehicles. For these cars, in addition to standard inspection, I assess high-voltage battery health, charging system, and specific modules.

Full Diagnostic and Premium packages include a detailed written report with photos. Basic package provides verbal report on site, but for an additional fee I can prepare a written one as well.

Yes, the Premium package includes a video call to discuss inspection results. For other packages, this service can be added for an additional fee. It is convenient if you want to review photos together.

Absolutely! Many of my clients live abroad and buy cars in Latvia for family or themselves. I send a detailed report and we can discuss via video call. If needed, I can also help with seller negotiations.
